Use Google Chrome, install the extension Ad Block Plus and google ifirstrowus go to that website and watch the streams. The ad block plus does a great job getting rid of all the crap on those sites, not perfect but does a great job. If you get a virus or issue don't blame me...

Sorry for the following novel but I am in full hockey mode again.

Lindy - don't miss you one bit.

Kucherov - he is my breakout player for a reason, sitting him at the end of season last year might have done wonders. His goal was real nice, then he had a nice attempt in the third skating around 3 guys going from backhand to forehand and hitting the post. If he is not in the top 6 I will be disappointed, he is like Stammer in a way just oozes offense - shoot first, finds space, full speed, etc. And he has proven to not be a defensive liability.

Namestnikov - has proved to me how much he has improved, he could be on the Bolts but I think the numbers game at his position is his undoing. He doesn't have a place unless they decide they need to move TJ to RW for some reason.

Panik - dare I say he was the best player on his line with TJ and Palat this game, only one game but he is playing good. Panik only played 10 minutes though so its hard to really say where he goes, he to me is the guy who is mostly to lose his spot if it were to happen.

Connolly - I think he is safe with the Bolts, has played a great two way game, I think he needs to continue to just be consistent two way player and not worry so much about points they will come.

Paquette - another guy who could make the team but like Vlad the numbers catch up to him. He though I think could use another year in the AHL, it would do him good.

Defense - Witkowski brings pugilist skills but he is not better then Barbs or Sustr. Going to be interesting to see who stays and who goes to AHL or waivers with those three. Garrison I like him, Gudas looks better, Brewer is consistent with less minutes, Carle where has he been has he only played one preseason game.

Cooper - Cooper loves to run 11-7 but they have too many good forwards and enough good D, going to be hard on him to decide who plays and who sits on the 23 man roster.

I hate to say this because I like all our prospects but I feel the Bolts are so loaded with young guys who can play that a trade of some sort is bound to happen this year, I am not sure when, who and for what but we have assets on assets overflowing and some stuck in limbo do to depth. Maybe it wont be a bad thing if we traded at the trade deadline for something we need to make a playoff push, I would take that come March because that means the Bolts are doing good.

Enough rambling, sorry for the long read.

Wow the young guns impress this preseason. Those who where in the zone of getting cut was Panik, Kuch, Brown, Connolly but they are all playing great. Brown may be the odd man out here. Even Vlad and that Marquettes guy is playing great. Jesus christ its like we have the pieces to trade for a superstar like Kessel.

I project that Morrow starts the season as a regular but after new years he will be a healthy scratch for a long period of times, and come back in the playoffs.

As good as they are playing, this is still just the preseason folks. Bottom line is we have 82 regular season games to play before we can say poop.

Very true its a long season but I think we have the right to be cautiously optimistic about the team. So many good young guys does two things. Pushes others to be better and gives us bargaining chips if we are in the playoff hunt. Looking forward to it, I think we should be in playoff contention and if we get in the rest is gravy for this year. I just want consistency.
